Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired word of God. That Bible defines our worldview and is the only authority for what we believe and how we live.  (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:105,160)

God

God is the creator of the universe and has absolute authority over His creation. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three personalities are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:13-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Humanity

All people are made in the image of God and have value as His creation. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23)

Jesus

Jesus, was the fullness of God, revealed in human form. He died for the sins of the whole world, He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven and He is coming back again. (1 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8)

Salvation

Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are found only in Jesus. Individuals accepting salvation by receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior repent of their sin, confess Jesus as Lord and are baptized into Him.

The Church

The church exists to equip followers of Jesus to be disciples who make disciples. The church, under the authority of Jesus, provides opportunities for spiritual growth, promotes the unity of believers and proclaims the Gospel.  (Ephesians 4:1-16; Matthew 28:18-20)
